Ms. Fatma Sirry
Fatma received a Licentiate in Simultaneous Interpretation from Al-Azhar University and started her professional career as a Management Trainee at Chase National Bank. She served in that capacity for six years and then embarked on her own business venture when she found T&R (Translation and Recruitment) Business Center in 1985. Her business helps multi-national companies recruit staff and managers and offers translation and other business services. Fatma helped launch Enactus operations in Egypt in 2004 starting with 120 student representing 4 Egyptian academic institutions reaching this year to 4405 student representing 40 university implementing projects aiming at improving the quality of life and standard of living for people in need. Fatma has seen her efforts materialize into consecutive wins for the Egyptian team representing Egypt at the Enactus World Cups in 2009 (Berlin – Germany) and 2010 (Los Angeles - USA). Fatma was recognized as one of two highest performing countries in the African Region. Enactus Egypt has the highest active students in Africa and the 2nd highest average students per team (112). In October 2012, Fatma received the Jack Shewmaker Leadership Award at 2012 Enactus World Cup with a Country Index Score of 5.0 out of 5.0. In addition, Egypt was ranked the 1st Runner-Up in the 2012 Enactus World Cup at Washington DC. Currently, 4405 university student representing 40 academic institutions are implementing 135 outreach project having direct impact on 326,000 Egyptian citizen.
