Eng. Mostafa El Gabaly
Mostafa is part of the executive team of The Polyserve Fertilizers & Chemicals Group. He is mainly in charge of the group’s flagship: Abo Zaabal Fertilizers & Chemicals (AZFC). AZFC is a Phosphate-based fertilizers manufacturer. Established in 1947, the company was nationalized in the 1960s. In 2004 Polyserve Fertilizers & Chemicals (PFC) acquired the company. Since the acquisition, PFC has invested over 150 million USD to increase the capacities and comply with the environmental laws. AZFC’s capacity has increased from 500,ooo TPY to 1.2 million TPY of end product, making it the largest Single Super Phosphate producer in the world. Mostafa oversaw the turnaround of the company as the GM of the projects department. Currently he is the company’s managing director. Besides AZFC, Mostafa is the CEO of the holding company Polyserve Fertilizers and a board member of Aswan Fertilizers & Chemicals (AFC). Mostafa is also the deputy chairman of the Export Council for Chemicals & Fertilizers since 2005, a board member of the EUSBC ( Egypt US business council) , Co-Chair of the mineral resource committee and a member of the Industry and Trade committee of AMCHAM Egypt. Mostafa is also a member of the Advisory Board to the Mechanical Engineering Department , Cairo University. Mostafa holds a BSc in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from Cairo University
