Dr. Mohamed Magdy

Dr. Mohamed Magdy is the Marketing Manager of "Pirelli Egypt" since 2008. He led the organization to uplift brand positioning from 4th to 2nd place and supported in double the value returns in five years. He developed integrated marketing communication approach along "Pirelli Truck" and Car Business units, using marketing mix and maximize the Publicity and CSR contributions. From 2004 to 2008, he was the Marketing Manager of LG Electronics Egypt. He led the company across this period to set a new integrated marketing communication strategy classified by brand management, which consolidated LG brand position and enhanced its ranking from 5th to 3rd place in three years. It is noteworthy that he arranged one of the best CSR events for LG in Egypt (LG CUP 2005 Tournament) which uplifted the brand awareness and considerations. In addition to arranging several CSR projects like Eye Cataract operations and Ramadan Food bank program He also developed the best marketing communication campaign in LG group in 2007 DA digital appliances and DD Digital display. As a Senior Communication Officer in Thuraya Satellite Telecommunications (2003-2004), he determined the basis of market potentials and business development through new business channels and market responsiveness. He formulated the communication mix plan, through the selective media vehicles, for an effective reach addressing the various targeted segments. He monitored the product distribution strategy of cellular satellite phones over new marketing channels that reaches target segments. He contributed in developing joint-promotional plans supporting brand awareness and positioning within market arena. During the period between 2000 and 2003 Dr. Mohamed Magdy was the Senior Marketing Executive of " MultiChoice". He managed several designated client accounts for selected market segments, and prepared of quarterly sales analysis & obtained forecast. He also monitored product distribution of digital receivers and planned exhibitions and events within Cairo.
