Ms. Swati Randev-Verma
I lead PwC Middle East’s Corporate Sustainability practice.
For more than a decade, I’ve worked in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainability and Corporate Communications roles in Accounting, Finance, Consulting, and e-commerce industries across Dubai, UAE.
I specialize in creating the foundation and infrastructure for CSR, Sustainability and Engagement in line with a company’s core strategy and ambitions. This includes preparing CSR and Sustainability strategies and policies that are aligned with external and internal regulations, KPIs, local government policy, and internal audit processes, among other parameters.
My work in the past few years has been focused on aligning our CSR ambitions with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); I have also been a very vocal advocate of the SDGs in the local communities and forums of which I am a part. I have been an active member of the UN’s Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) chapter in the UAE, and continue to participate in numerous other Diversity and Inclusion forums locally.
Outside of the corporate environment, I work closely with local and global NGOs, and collaborate on initiatives that look into public sector development, sustainable development of small scale industries, and social entrepreneurship.
While my career has been focused on CSR, Sustainability and Corporate Communications, I also have adequate experience in Employee Engagement, Market Research, Digital Strategy, Marketing Strategy, and e-commerce, which is further complemented by an MBA from Aston Business School, UK.
