Mr. Tamer Younes
Tamer’s professional career spans over 17 years and is a blend of experience in Engineering Operations, Sales and Purchasing with several multinational companies. He joined P&G in 2005 and assumed various responsibilities in Product Supply Purchasing, Government Relations and Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs and Communications. Currently, Tamer leads Government Relations and Communications for the North Africa and Levant business. His work focuses on leading Public Policy efforts to protect and grow P&G’s business and support the industry in general. His portfolio of activities includes liaising with legislative and regulatory agencies, Leading GM engagement, providing Leadership council, representing P&G in business associations and managing relations with foreign diplomacies to advocate investment policies that improves the business landscape in his owned markets. He also acts as the company SPOC for media and press. Tamer is a Board Member in the Federation of Egyptian Industries and the Chemicals Export Council. He is also a member of AmCham’s Industry Core Committee, Entrepreneurship Committee and Transport and Logistics Committee in Egypt. Tamer holds a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo. He is also a trainer of half a dozen P&G Leadership Academy trainings.
