Mr. Assem Ragab
Mr. Ragab has been appointed as Chairman of Credit Agricole Egypt Foundation for Development Since January 2018 and CAE Non-Executive Chairman in September 2017. He comes with an extensive experience in the financial industry.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Ragab was member of CAE’s Board of Directors two times: from October 2009 till April 2012, representing Misr Insurance Holding Company; and from March 2013 till August 2017, representing Public Subscription. He was member and then Chairman of CAE’s Audit and Risk committees.
For more than three years ending 2009, he was the chairman of the General Authority of investment and free zones (GAFI) as well as the Chairman of the Gulf of Suez Special Economic Zone Authority. Prior to GAFI he had distinguished corporate career with prominent multinational and financial institutions , including Procter& Gamble, Accenture and Arthur Anderson ( serving the U.S, Gulf and Egypt ) /The National Bank of Egypt and Barclays (serving the MENA region ).
Mr. Ragab formally held the position of Chairman of the Suez Main Development Company and was board member in different leading organizations in Egypt out of which National Investment Bank, National Bank of Egypt and the Social Fund for Development.
