Mai Abdel Rahman
Ms. Mai Abdel Rahman has eight years of experience working with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Egypt. Currently, Ms. Abdel Rahman holds the Poverty Reduction Programme Analyst position in UNDP, where she works on designing and monitoring projects, strategically tailored interventions, bilateral and multilateral partnerships and initiatives, as well as providing policy advice. She is supporting Poverty Reduction projects in areas of job creation, social protection, private sector and corporate social responsibility, gender equality and women’s economic and social empowerment, youth engagement and urban development. Furthermore, Ms. Abdel Rahman’s eight years of professional experience with UNDP additionally include the area of Democratic Governance, as she worked on several projects associated with human rights, anti-corruption and elections. Lastly, in terms of academic experience, Ms. Abdel Rahman is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Public Policy at the American University in Cairo (AUC), and holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science, and conducted post graduate studies in International Relations at AUC.
