Dr. Aisha Saad
Dr. Aisha Saad is Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the American University in Cairo. She received a Masters of Philosophy in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy and a Doctorate in Political and Economic Geography from Oxford University. Parallel to her work at AUC, Aisha will also begin studies at Yale Law this fall. She has conducted fieldwork in India, Peru, the United States and Egypt. Aisha teaches courses in Social and Environmental Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Sustainable Development. In recent years Aisha has worked with the White House Council on Environmental Quality, with the United Nations Security Sector Reform Unit, with the Egyptian Corporate Responsibility Center, with the Peruvian Ministry of Health and Ministry of Women’s Affairs and Social Development, and with the Environmental Law Institute in the U.S.
