Mr. Ayman Ismail
Ayman is a Harvard graduate who received numerous global awards for his leadership, strategic thinking and marketing achievements. Also known for his passion for CSR. After 26 years of diverse experience at two leading multinational companies P&G and PepsiCo, Ayman joined his family business DMG / Mountain-View as the Chairman & CEO, under his leadership DMG revenue multiplied 6 times and Mountain-View become among the top 3 brands in the Real-Estate market. Ayman started his career with P&G in 1987 in the startup of P&G Egypt before he moved to join P&G Europe, and was appointed Global Marketing Director where he led the global launch of the “Swiffer” brand creating + $1 Billion business. In 2000, Ayman moved to the USA to lead P&G Global Oral Care Business where he led the introduction of P&G biggest new initiative in the USA “Crest White Strips” creating +$ 320MM business that played a key role in regaining P&G Oral Care USA market leadership from its rival Colgate. In December 2009 “Crest White Strips” was named among other global initiatives like iPod by advertising age global survey as one of the top 10 new product award of the decade. Following Ayman record of accomplishment, he was made Team Leader of the P&G/Gillette integration following P&G acquisition of the Gillette Company. In 2006 Ayman moved back to Egypt as the Chairman of PepsiCo Egypt and President of North Africa. Under his leadership PepsiCo achieved number of historic milestones. In 2008 Ayman was promoted to PepsiCo South Asia, Middle East & Africa Regional Vice President. Ayman is active on CSR, he led many high impact social initiatives like i) PepsiCo successful CSR program “Pepsi football School League”, which covered over 500 schools across Egypt and produced 7 players the Egyptian youth national food ball team, ii) establishing the Real State Academy in Egypt in cooperation with the American University in Cairo and University of Singapore which graduated to-date over 50 of the real-estate industry top executives an important milestone in aligning this important sector with global trends and standards, iii) he is Secretary General of Ma’an Organization for Slum Development currently developing over 4000 units in Cairo and iv) serve as the Chairman of the Board- Endeavor Egypt Ayman serves as a board member of several organizations including the Strategic Advisory Board for School of Business of the American University in Cairo and A member of the Juhayna BOD a leading dairy and Juice Company in Egypt. In addition, Ayman has consulted with a number of U.S., European, Arab corporations and NGO(s).
